Family joy at the Eiffel Tower
I’m really excited to share this family portrait session at the Eiffel Tower! Brittany and Brandon are wonderful parents to an adorable little girl named Emma. On vacation together in Paris, they wanted to capture some family memories at the Eiffel Tower. What a fantastic idea, and think of how precious these photos will be of their young family in the years to come.
Emma was absolutely adorable and a real trooper, as it was a cold day. Yet she insisted on being fashionable and wearing her super cute white vest. The whole family was incredibly color coordinated and despite the fact we had a cloudy and foggy day, the Eiffel Tower has a special glow about it.
Love photographing families
I primarily photograph couples coming to Paris, and that’s pretty much because more couples come to Paris to celebrate special events. It’s always a treat to photograph families, whether they have young children, teenagers, young adults or a whole range of ages. Particularly fun for me is the little ones, because they have so much energy. I love to photograph little ones running around and being active, all with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Children love and need movement, and I prefer to photograph families with young children visiting Paris in a natural state, if you will, which means running, jumping into puddles (if there are any), tossing rocks, picking grass, holding a lollipop or cotton candy—or being tossed by their daddies.
It was so sweet how Brittany and Brandon interacted together, clearly a couple in love, and with their baby too. I loved watching Brandon playfully toss his daughter and she absolutely loved it. It reminded me of my own parents and their love and care. Brittany and Brandon are wonderful parents!
I was so happy to photograph this sweet family and I hope that I have the chance to photograph them again. Thank you Brittany and Brandon!!
