Pink and white exquisite Paris elopement in May. A stunning couple in a stunning location, this was a pink and white exquisite Paris elopement editorial at the Eiffel Tower. The day was cloudy, but cloudy days at the Eiffel Tower are common, it was still a mild and beautiful day in May to be out and about in Paris.
For this elopement editorial, we met at a spot with one of the very best views of the Eiffel Tower, an area called Trocadero. Sometimes people ask me what Trocadero means or why they named this area Trocadero, and the truth is, I don’t really know. I believe it has to do with a historical battle, but that’s about all I know. What I do know is that this is an excellent viewing point for the Eiffel Tower, and as such, it’s the most popular spot for tourists to gather also. All photo sessions as well as vow renewals and elopements must take place in the morning. If you come in the afternoon, there will be thousands of tourists and it’s not possible to create gorgeous images, nor is it frankly very enjoyable. I’m an afternoon and evening person, not a big morning fan. But it didn’t take me long to realize that photographing couples with a view of the Eiffel Tower would be much better in the morning. Not only that, the morning light is often softer and lovelier for photos.
This couple was so sweet and of course, so stunning, Debora and Antoine. The way they looked at each other, it’s the way you want your loved one to look at you. It melted my heart. And look at them! Antoine was so handsome in his white suit, and Debora’s dress, by Marchesa, was one of the most gorgeous I’d ever seen, simply divine! I’m a huge fan of pink, and a bit later, Debora popped a fun and sophisticated hat, I love hats too!
