Love in the Eiffel Tower in the rain
Paris and Hunter are a young couple in love, and what better way to celebrate that love in Paris than with a beautiful couples photo session? It was a rainy morning in Paris in November when we met, but they were fully prepared with their umbrella and as you can see, we had a lot of fun!
Paris and Hunter were up for anything, so we photographed them at various points around the Trocadero area of the Eiffel Tower, with some killer views of the Parisian landmark.
Color despite the gray
I love to infuse my work with as much color as possible, even on a rainy day. How can we add color? If possible, by using any flowers, grass, trees and so forth in the background. Also, the colors that clients wear are also important. Since Paris is often gray, and the Trocadero area especially is very much made of concrete, some colorful wardrobe choices can make all the difference.
Take for example, the boots Paris is wearing. Their color is wonderful and really sets off the images. She’s also wearing a pretty scarf. Hunter is wearing a dark denim, and blues also look great. Take a bit of time to plan your wardrobe for your Paris photo experience, it will make all the difference in the world.
But ah, rain!
I think many of us have been conditioned to hate rain (myself included). Especially for something special like a photo session. We don’t want our clothes to get wet, we don’t want our hair to get wet, and we don’t want to be cold and miserable. These are legitimate concerns, but I’d say don’t worry too much. If you bring an umbrella, it adds color and is really romantic and cute. The rain gives an excuse to get even closer to your loved one, and can create some amazingly romantic moments. I say, embrace whatever Paris throws you, it’s a magnificent city and even in the rain, you can have fun!
Many thanks to Paris and Hunter for sharing this rainy morning with me!
