A joyful New Year’s Eve surprise proposal in Paris
A joyfilled Paris surprise proposal on New Year’s Eve. What a wonderful surprise proposal this was, and on New Year’s Eve no less!
I had the distinct pleasure of working with Pablo, a very nice man visiting from Mexico, who contacted me. But, Pablo was really nervous. He and his girlfriend Denn were visiting Paris over New Year’s Eve, and he wanted to pop the question. It is the most romantic city in the world and as a Paris surprise proposal photographer, I know the very best places for Paris surprise proposals, not just for the proposal itself, but for the photographs. Pablo and I were in contact on Whatsapp and he decided that the riverside location would be perfect for his Paris surprise proposal.
But Pablo was nervous, and didn’t want anything to go wrong. I totally understand the worry that goes along with a Paris surprise proposal, there is a lot of pressure on a guy to get it just perfect. But I have good news, your lady will love you no matter what. You can’t go wrong. You’re in Paris, she will be thrilled to no end. Trust me, I have a lot of experience with this, both as a surprise proposal photographer in Paris and as a female. I think I have a little insight into what women think when they’re proposed to in Paris. We like it. We love you for it. You have made our dreams come true.
Pablo was a bit worried he wasn’t going to find the correct spot for his Paris surprise proposal, but all went perfectly and he and Denn took some pictures of each other along the riverside, which has an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. The weather on New Year’s Eve was chilly, but sunny and the light could not have been more beautiful. I love the Eiffel Tower riverside spot because it’s relatively quiet and peaceful. Sometimes there are people picnicking, or there are photo shoots, but in general, it’s just a lovely spot.
As they were taking photographs, just like that, without Denn suspecting a thing, he dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. She was overcome with emotion and it was so beautiful. After the proposal, I introduced myself and Pablo and Denn had a champagne toast. A lot of my clients love to add-on a bottle of champagne to their Paris surprise proposal. Not only is it festive (and tastes so good), but it also helps take the nerves away, if you’re at all nervous.
After the champagne, we did a few engagement photographs in the area, just a few, plenty of time to then go to a nice dinner and enjoy your Paris engagement. Denn was just lovely, so stylish in her hat, and the way Pablo looked at her, well, it just made a person melt. They are a lovely, and warm couple, so friendly and will have the most amazing life together. Felicidades Pablo and Denn, thank you for choosing me to capture your Paris surprise proposal, and my very best wishes to you for a wonderful life together!
