I love photographing couples in love and especially Paris engagement sessions at the Eiffel Tower. It really is a romantic spot, and lately I’ve been exploring more of the gardens.
Surrounding the Trocadero area of the Eiffel Tower, which is across the street and river from the Eiffel Tower itself, is Trocadero, also known as the Palais de Chaillot. This is a large building with two sides, containing a number of museums and cultural spaces, flanked with gardens on either side and a magnificent view (the most popular view) of the Eiffel Tower.
The gardens are greening this time of year, and a few trees have started their spring blooms. I’m so excited! Unfortunately, these gardens aren’t as pretty in summer with all the people trampling through them, but they’re nice right now and I’ve been taking advantage of them.
Kim and Eric are newly engaged and are visiting Paris for the first time from Oakland, California. What a sharp looking couple! Wow! They were as nice as they are beautiful, and it was an absolute treat to photograph them on this windy and cold March day.
Their wedding is going to be spectacular and they will have a life filled with true joy!
