Eiffel Tower

A sunny and sweet Paris engagement photo session

This was a sunny and sweet Paris engagement photo session! Chris and Tara became engaged on the Pont Alexandre bridge, and I was there to witness and capture their surprise proposal, and indeed, I feel lucky. They are an amazing couple. You can read more about my surprise proposal services here. Chris chose the Pont Alexandre because it is a beautiful bridge and has a view of the Eiffel Tower. From there, we had a bit of time to walk on down to the Tuileries Gardens and the Louvre before they went to a celebratory dinner.

Chris also wanted to celebrate his surprise proposal with a beautiful Paris engagement session. As he had chosen to propose on the bridge, he thought an engagement session closer to the Eiffel Tower would be ideal. So, a few days' later, I met Chris and Tara at the Trocadero area of the Eiffel Tower for a dynamite Paris engagement session.

The Trocadero area of the Eiffel Tower offers an iconic view of the famous landmark, built in 1889 for the World's Fair, and today stands as the most visited monument in the world, with 25,000 visitors a day on average visiting and having a look out over Paris. It's an ideal spot for a Paris engagement session with magnificent views of the Eiffel Tower.

Being that I'm a Paris engagement photographer, I know all the best spots at the Eiffel Tower for amazing engagement photos.

We took advantage of the gorgeous fountains also, which typically are on from the end of May until early September. The wind was blowing a bit, so Chris and Tara got a little wet, but they were great sports and didn't complain!

Other amazing views of the Eiffel Tower

I'm a Paris photographer that always likes to offer a lot of variety in photography offerings, and I was super happy to show Chris and Tara some of my other favorite spots. First, we stopped at Avenue Camoens, one of the most romantic views of the Eiffel Tower as you admire the neighborhood architecture. Then, we walked down to the bridge of Bir Hakeim, another one of my favorite spots. I absolutely love this bridge and it's intricate ironwork. It's featured in a lot of movies and music videos, so I'm apparently not the only one who loves the bridge.

It was such a nice day I took them to the riverside too, for really close on views of the Eiffel Tower. I loved chatting with Chris and Tara and learning more about them. They were really soaking up the very best of Paris, having visited Monet's Giverny, Versailles and many other wonderful Paris attractions.

We concluded our Paris engagement session at Passerelle Debilly, a pedestrian footbridge that's not so pretty as bridges go, but the view of the Eiffel Tower from there just cannot be beat!

My thanks to Chris and Tara for a wonderful couple of days, it was so nice to meet you and photograph this very special time in your life! Wishing them all the very best in their lives together!

I can't wait to photograph YOUR love story in Paris! See all the Picture Me Paris engagement packages here.
